INVITATION TO JOIN COOPERATION CLUB OF EU- VIETNAM ENTERPRISES

Currently, Vietnam is the first choice for EU companies looking for a cost-effective production base in Asia. Viet Nam's effective control of the COVID-19 pandemic has strengthened its position and ensured its readiness to re-open its economy before other countries.
To be ready for implementation of EVFTA (Vietnam - EU Free Trade Agreement), which comes into effect in August 2020, to build a new effective cooperating between EU Enterprises and Vietnamese Colleagues and sponsored by the Slovak-Vietnam Chamber of Commerce, The provisional board of Cooperation Club of EU-Vietnam Enterprises was officially launched on ... month ……..the year 2020, at the Meeting Hall .............................
In 2019, a historic milestone in the relationship in the event of the parties' ratification of a Free Trade Agreement between Vietnam and the EU (Vietnam - EU Free Trade Agreement - EVFTA). Viet Nam will eliminate customs duties of 48.5% of tariff lines which equivalent to 64.5% of imports from the EU as soon as the Agreement comes into effect and of about 99% of tariff lines which equivalent to 99.8% of imports from the EU after 10 years . For the remaining tariff lines, Viet Nam will have a roadmap of over 10 years or give preferential treatment to the EU under the WTO's tariff quota.
The Agreement' commitment to investment facilitates EU investors to do business in Vietnam. Moreover, the commitment to facilitate investment along with the degree of liberalization of Vietnam's services sectors for EU service providers has increased, especially business services and environmental services. This is expected to boost FDI inflows from the EU into Vietnam soon.
Therefore, firstly the launch of Cooperation Club of EU-Vietnam Enterprises is a practical boost for EU investors who want to enter the Vietnamese market.
The Club will be systematically connecting businesses and entrepreneurs between the EU and Vietnam to exchange information support and cooperate in trade, investment, business and humanitarian.
The Club will be a common voice with EU Countries and Vietnamese authorities, especially in contacting, connecting, representing and contributing to the State agencies on the improvement of the policy system, related laws on the principle of respect, equality and mutual benefits for members of the club under laws of the EU, EU Countries and Vietnam.
The Provisional Board of Cooperation club of EU-Vietnam enterprises would like to invite Entrepreneurs and Enterprises who intends to develop trade with Europe/Vietnam to participate and join Club.
